Ultimate Coffee Date - February 2018
Good morning! I am joining Deborah at Confessions of a Mother Runner and Coco at Running With Perseverance for their monthly Ultimate Coffee Date linkup today. This will be my last post before the 'big race' so hopefully it makes a vague amount of sense.

If we were having tea today
I would tell you I bought tickets for a show on Valentine's Day in Las Vegas as a surprise for Kev but he doesn't know which one yet. So even though I'm very excited about it and I think it will be awesome I can't actually say what the show is because he reads my blog.

I'd whine about the neverending winter bollocks. Groundhog nailed it. Today it's -26°c with windchill and snowing (again). I already hurt my back a month ago shovelling huge volumes of snow and I'm not happy to see so much more of the white stuff coming down. We're under a winter storm warning right now.

Well of course I would be checking in on the Las Vegas weather while we were sitting there, because I'm obsessed. Last year Jackpot had so much rain throughout the 24 hours I'm a little nervous about what will happen for 48 hours in 2018. It looks good right now. Fingers crossed it stays like this. Just checked again, here it is...

You'd probably ask how the January eating better/weight loss thing was going and I'd have to admit I didn't see any weight loss progress at all. Eating better consistently for 6 weeks before a big race however can only be a good thing. I'm done being upset and frustrated so time to move ahead and revisit things when I get back.
