Hazy Shade of Winter

We picked a wonderful time to stay at Lake Louise this weekend.  We hiked Sat/Sun then woke up to fresh snow on Monday morning.  It was extremely quiet at 8am when we walked around Lake Louise then on the way out we headed into Moraine Lake.  The road was scheduled to close at the end of that day for winter.

Moraine Lake is breathtaking all year but seeing it in the fresh snow was really something else.  The road is now closed.  Time to break out the winter gear and the snowshoes!
