My IT Band injury from April through July was hellish but I got past it and ran a marathon.  I was introduced to the Vanduzzi.  I lost 11lbs then gained back 11lbs.  I ran a Half personal worst!

2014


2014 has started very slowly on the running front, I am not enjoying the snow/ice underfoot or the boredom of the treadmill.  My first attempts at running have been horrible.

Coming up:

Hypothermic Half  - Feb 8
Run for L'Arche Half  - March 22
Pittsburgh 5k & Marathon  - May 3 & 4
Calgary Marathon  - June 1

I will get there one step at a time.

  3. That's so cool, I'm doing the Pgh 5K the day before too! It's tradition! I do it super easy, and just have fun. :)

    1. Thanks Kristy. We're really looking forward to Pittsburgh this year. Training in the snow - not so much. Spring marathons eh!
