My First Race of 2017
This is my next race and the first one of 2017:
Jackpot Ultra 24hr
Happy birthday to me!
I ran the 12 hour version of this in 2015 and pretty much loved it. I want to challenge myself to run through the day and the night this time. I basically want to keep moving forward for 24 hours. I also want to run at least a personal long distance of over 66 km, ideally reaching 100 km and above.
Since the loop is approx 2.38 miles around a central pond, we have easy and frequent access to all our stuff, bags and food.
I can't do a night race without getting Cyndi Lauper stuck in my head. That's normal right?
